SEOUL SKY sits on floors 117–123 of Lotte World Tower in Jamsil. VisitSeoul (updated 2026-05-13) lists general admission at ₩33,000 for adults (13+) and ₩29,000 for children (36 months–12). FAST PASS is ₩62,000 for all ages. This is not a Lotte World Adventure park ticket, and it is not needed for the shopping mall on the lower floors.
This guide is written for first-time visitors who want to know what they are actually paying for, when to go, and how Seoul Sky fits into a day in southeastern Seoul. Prices and hours below come from VisitSeoul and the official SEOUL SKY ticket page; both are linked at the end, and it is worth opening them again the day before your visit because fares and opening times can change.

Fares
VisitSeoul lists three ticket types, and those are the only figures this article treats as confirmed. The official ticket page shows the same ₩33,000 adult fare.
| Type | Price | Ages |
|---|---|---|
| Adult | ₩33,000 | 13+ |
| Child | ₩29,000 | 36 months–12 |
| FAST PASS | ₩62,000 | All ages |
Children are charged the adult fare from age 13. Whether infants under 36 months enter free, and which discounts apply to seniors or visitors with disabilities, depends on the proof rules shown at the ticket desk or on the booking screen, so bring ID for anyone who might qualify.
What a visit costs for a couple or a family
- Two adults, general admission: ₩33,000 × 2 = ₩66,000
- Two adults and one child, general admission: ₩33,000 × 2 + ₩29,000 = ₩95,000
- Two adults, FAST PASS: ₩62,000 × 2 = ₩124,000
The gap between general admission and FAST PASS is ₩29,000 per adult. Choose FAST PASS only when queues justify that gap. On a weekday afternoon the wait may be short enough that general admission is the obvious choice; on a holiday weekend just before sunset, the time saved can be worth paying for. There is no rule that FAST PASS is always the better deal — it depends on how crowded the tower is on your day.

Hours and access
VisitSeoul hours: Sun–Thu 10:30–22:00, Fri–Sat 10:30–23:00. Last entry is earlier than closing — check your ticket or the notice at the entrance for the exact admission cut-off. Cafés, shops and experience zones inside the observatory may also close at slightly different times from the viewing decks.
| Days | Hours |
|---|---|
| Sunday–Thursday | 10:30–22:00 |
| Friday–Saturday | 10:30–23:00 |
Address: 300 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu. Subway: Jamsil Station (Lines 2/8) Exit 2, about 311 m. Once you are inside Lotte World Tower, follow the signs for the dedicated SEOUL SKY ticketing area and elevators rather than the general mall lifts. Phone: 1661-2000.

Packages and booking
Official pages also list Seoul Sky + Aquarium packages. Search snippets have shown package prices in the range of about ₩62,000 for adults and ₩56,000 for youth, but age bands and inclusions should be confirmed on the booking screen before you pay. A useful way to decide: put the ₩33,000 observatory-only ticket next to the package price and ask whether you will genuinely spend time in the aquarium. If not, the package is not a saving.
You can buy through the official website or app, at the on-site ticket desk, or through online travel agencies. Some products are sold by date and time slot, and arriving late for a timed slot can mean restricted entry. Refunds and date changes follow the rules of whichever channel you bought from, so read them before checkout. Third-party vouchers, such as those sold on Klook, may require you to exchange them at a specific pickup desk inside the tower.
Sky Bridge and seasonal experiences are usually sold separately. Even when a 2026 seasonal programme is promoted on the official homepage, it is not automatically bundled with a basic observatory ticket. Assuming “one ticket covers everything” is the easiest way to overspend once you are upstairs.
Seoul Sky vs N Seoul Tower
Different hills, heights, and tickets. Seoul Sky is a skyscraper observatory (VisitSeoul describes it as reaching the 500-metre class), while N Seoul Tower looks out from the ridge of Namsan. The two are priced separately and there is no combined ticket.
Jamsil itineraries fit Seoul Sky; Myeongdong/Namsan fits N Seoul Tower. If you are staying around Jamsil, Songpa or Gangdong, Seoul Sky is the short trip. If your day is built around Myeongdong, Namsan or Yongsan, N Seoul Tower is closer. For sunset photos at either one, aim to be upstairs 30–40 minutes before sunset.
Fog can cut visibility — the fare table has no weather discount. On hazy or fine-dust days the night view is sometimes better than the daytime view, and sometimes the reverse. If your schedule is flexible, picking a clear day will do more for your experience than any discount.

Mall only?
Lower mall floors do not need an observatory ticket. Paid access covers the sky decks from floor 117 upwards. Souvenir shops and cafés may sit inside or outside the paid zone, so if you only want a coffee or a gift, ask the information desk which floors you can reach without a ticket.
When to buy and how to beat the queues
Weekend afternoons and the hour before sunset on public holidays are when ticketing, security checks and elevator lines tend to stack up. If your ticket has a time slot, plan to be inside the tower 20–30 minutes before it starts. If you have an open same-day ticket, go up well before the last-entry time if you want to enjoy the night view without rushing. On Fridays and Saturdays the observatory stays open until 23:00, but entering after 22:00 leaves you with very little time at the top.
Photography and families
Glass reflections and fingerprints are the main obstacles to good photos. In daylight the outer skyline tends to photograph well; at night, the Han River and the Jamsil side are the usual favourites. Tripods and large bags may be restricted, so check the carry-in rules before you go. If you are visiting with young children, agree beforehand on how you will move along the glass railings and keep hold of small hands near the windows.
For safety or weather reasons, some outdoor decks or bridge experiences can close on the day, leaving only the indoor viewing areas. Whether you can get a refund for an add-on in that case depends on where you bought it. Checking the VisitSeoul page and the official notice banner on the morning of your visit is a habit worth as much as the ticket itself.
Can I do Seoul Sky and N Seoul Tower on the same day?
It is possible, but the trip between them often takes close to an hour. Splitting the day — Namsan in the morning and Jamsil in the evening, or the other way round — leaves little room for meals and rest. Many visitors find one observatory, done properly, more satisfying. If you do want both, visit one before lunch and save the other for sunset, and allow at least 30 minutes extra for subway transfers.
