The 21st Busan Fireworks Festival takes place on Saturday 7 November 2026 around Gwangalli Beach, Igidae and Dongbaekseom Island. The show runs from 19:00 to 20:00, with an intermission planned for 19:15–19:25. Reserved seating comes in two types: R seats with a table and chairs at ₩100,000, and S seats (chair only) at ₩70,000. Busan residents get 10% off, paying ₩90,000 and ₩63,000.

If you have a reserved seat, the timing rule matters most. Entry opens at 15:00, and if you are not at your seat by 18:00 you will be refused entry and cannot get a refund.

How much are reserved seats at the Busan Fireworks Festival?

The international booking page on NOL World lists two seat types for 2026: R seats at ₩100,000 and S seats at ₩70,000. Busan Citizen tickets, 10% cheaper at ₩90,000 and ₩63,000, are sold as separate ticket types. The Busan city government announced that the seating areas will be set up on the sand in front of Hotel Aqua Palace and Homers Hotel at Gwangalli Beach.

Seat What you get General price Busan Citizen price (10% off)
R seat Table + chairs ₩100,000 ₩90,000
S seat Chair ₩70,000 ₩63,000

Two R seats at the general price come to ₩200,000. A family of four living in Busan buying S seats with the resident discount pays ₩63,000 × 4 = ₩252,000, which is ₩28,000 less than the general ₩280,000.

Who qualifies for the Busan Citizen discount?

Discounted tickets are limited to 4 per person and can only be collected on the day at the NOL Ticket on-site booth; there is no advance delivery. The buyer and everyone using the tickets must go to the booth together and show ID plus proof of a Busan address.

Foreign nationals must present an Alien Registration Card or a Domestic Residence Report Card showing a Busan address. If you cannot prove eligibility, you have to pay the difference up to the general price before the ticket is issued, and without paying you will be refused entry. A general-price ticket cannot be switched to the discount price on site.

Wheelchair seating is booked by phone

Wheelchair spaces can only be reserved through NOL customer service on 1544-1555. Companions book separately through the normal process, no chairs are provided in the wheelchair area, and wheelchair users enter through a dedicated gate.

Where and until when can you book?

Foreign visitors book on NOL World, which is for international visitors only and checks your passport, with a maximum of 4 regular tickets per person. Regular sales on NOL Ticket and NOL World close at 17:00 on Friday 6 November. The other official channel, BNK Busan Bank, closes earlier and sells mainly through a Korean banking app and its branches.

Channel Sales period Notes
NOL Ticket / NOL World (regular) Fri 4 Sep 14:00 – Fri 6 Nov 17:00 R and S seats

The sales schedule comes from the festival’s official ticketing page. The hotel packages cover Shilla Stay Seobusan, Wyndham Grand Busan, and Fairfield by Marriott Busan Songdo Beach, and quantities are limited, so they may sell out early.

Delivery or on-site collection depends on when you book

General tickets booked by Sunday 11 October are posted in one batch between 12 and 16 October. From bookings made on Monday 12 October, tickets can only be collected on site. Someone else can collect for you if they bring a copy of the buyer’s ID and the booking confirmation.

What about tickets bought elsewhere?

The organiser says losses from tickets bought outside the official channels are the responsibility of the people trading them. If resale or other improper trading is found, the booking account can be sanctioned and the ticket cancelled, and you may be refused entry on the day even while holding the ticket.

Nearest subway stations for each viewing area

The festival’s directions page lists the three venues separately. For Gwangalli Beach, use Gwangan Station exit 3, and for Dongbaekseom, Dongbaek Station exit 1, both on Line 2. For Igidae, get off at Kyungsung Univ.·Pukyong Nat’l Univ. Station on Line 2 and change to a bus.

The NOL page gives Gwangalli Beach’s address as 219 Gwanganhaebyeon-ro, Suyeong-gu, Busan. When checked on 6 October, the Traffic menu on the official site still said the page was being prepared, so look again for road closures and times once they are announced.

Planning the afternoon around the deadlines

Busan Citizen tickets and anything booked from 12 October onwards must be collected as paper tickets at the on-site booth. NOL expects the booth to be very crowded and says it is not responsible for late entry caused by ID checks or queues. The safe order is to go to the booth as soon as entry opens at 15:00, then take your seat well before the 18:00 cut-off.

The Busan city government says this year’s programme centres on invited international fireworks shows and the Busan Multi Fireworks Show. The programme menu on the official site was marked “to be updated” as of 6 October. For festival questions, call the Busan Festival Organization on 051-713-5000 (09:00–18:00); for bookings and cancellations, NOL customer service on 1544-1555 (09:00–18:00).
