How much is Suncheon Bay Wetland admission?

Personal tickets are ₩10,000 for adults (ages 19–64), ₩7,000 for youth/soldiers (ages 13–18 or sergeant and below with ID/leave papers, including auxiliary/public service), and ₩5,000 for children (ages 7–12). Groups of 20+ pay ₩6,000 / ₩5,000 / ₩3,000. Suncheon residents pay ₩2,000 / ₩1,500 / free for children. Do not apply National Garden night prices (e.g. adult ₩5,000) to the wetland—the wetland fee table has no separate night rate.

Category Adult Youth / soldier Child
Individual ₩10,000 ₩7,000 ₩5,000
Group (20+) ₩6,000 ₩5,000 ₩3,000
Suncheon resident ₩2,000 ₩1,500 Free

Free/discount rules (under 6 / 65+ with ID, disability, patriots, sister-city 50%, etc.) are on the preferential-rate page. Without proof you pay full price. Annual passes and a city combo ticket exist on the same fee page; for a single wetland visit, use the table above first.

Age brackets at a glance

Adult 19–64, youth 13–18, child 7–12. Under 6 and 65+ fall under free-entry rules with ID. Count kids/teens first, then check whether your party hits the 20-person group tier.

What are the hours and closed days?

Nov–Feb: tickets 08:00–17:00, viewing until 18:00. Mar–Apr & Sep–Oct: tickets 08:00–18:00, viewing until 19:00. May–Aug: tickets 08:00–19:00, viewing until 20:00. Viewing usually ends about one hour after ticket cutoff. The wetland and National Garden close on the last Monday of each month (weather can change this). The tram is closed every Monday (or the next weekday if Monday is a holiday)—do not confuse it with the wetland’s monthly closure.

Season Ticket window Last viewing
Nov–Feb 08:00–17:00 until 18:00
Mar–Apr, Sep–Oct 08:00–18:00 until 19:00
May–Aug 08:00–19:00 until 20:00

After sunset, path lights may go off—keep return walks short if you enter near the last ticket time. The night observatory runs on a separate seasonal/online schedule.

Wetland closed day vs tram Monday

The wetland itself rests only on the last Monday of the month; the tram rests every Monday. “It’s Monday and something is closed” is not enough—check Garden & wetland visitor info before you leave.

Does a National Garden ticket cover the wetland?

Yes for a same-day National Garden ticket—the city states the wetland is about 7 km away and can be visited on that ticket. If you buy at the wetland and later enter the Garden, you must show the ticket. Tickets are valid only that day; re-entry is once per day with an exit stamp. Reserve at http://reservation.sc.go.kr/ (Garden / Wetland menus).

Standard online booking is for parties of 19 or fewer; group tickets cover 20–99 (one ticket, enter together). Cancel by 17:00 on the visit day. Booking desk: National Garden ops (061)749-2743; general line 061-749-3114. Older expo/closure text may linger on the reservation site—prefer the fee and hours pages above for current rules.

Same-day combo tips

If you plan both sites in one day, buying at the Garden keeps the pass logic simple. The 7 km gap means bus, taxi, or car—not a casual walk. Wetland-only visits need only the wetland window. Get the exit stamp if you want one re-entry. A separate multi-site city combo (adult ₩12,000 / youth·soldier ₩8,500 / child ₩5,500 personal) appears on the same fee page when you also string Nagan Eupseong or the drama set over one overnight.
